CWU organises in the following sectors

 

  • Telecommunication and Broadcasting

  • Media

  • Postal and Courier Service

  • Information Technology (IT)

  • Call Centre Services

 

Telecommunication and Broadcasting is the industry in which employers and their employees are associated for the manufacture, assembly, serving, installation, erection and maintenance of Telecommunications and Broadcasting equipment, and includes packing, dispatching and other operations incidental to or consequent on any of the aforesaid activities, and Telecommunication and Broadcasting Sector means all radio, television and/or telephone equipment, as well as public address systems, fax machines and radio paging equipment, computers and components and/or part thereof.

 

Media is sector in which employers and their employees are associated with journalism and other operation incidental consequent to it.

 

Postal and Courier Service is the sector in which employers and their employers are associated for the Conveyance assembly, servicing and maintenance of postal courier service equipment, and includes packaging, dispatching and other operations includes packing, dispatching and other operations incidental to or consequent on any of the aforesaid activities.

 

Information Technology (IT) is the sector in which employers and their employees are associated for the infrastructure, assembly, servicing, installation, erection and maintenance of IT equipment and other operations to or consequent on any of the aforesaid incidental.


Call Centre Services is the sector in which employers and their employees are associated for the accepting and dissemination of information regarding a product or a service and other operations incidental to or any of the aforesaid.
